The Michigan APME board of directors made the difficult, but obvious, decision to cancel the Michigan APME annual awards luncheon and AP state meeting scheduled for April 4, 2020 in Lansing, due to COVID-19. 

We have been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the state of Michigan. We have also been actively following travel advisories and restrictions being placed on many news media personnel. The health, safety and well-being of our members and staff is of paramount importance.  

You can find a list of the winners of the 2019 broadcast and newspaper contests below and on the Michigan AP state wires. 

We will mail plaques and certificates to our winners.

If you’ve already registered and paid for the April 4 banquet, we will refund your money.
